About

As the regions and nations of the world become more connected – a global society begins to emerge. This requires the analysis of the internationalization and globalization at various levels, from the micro individual level to the macro region level, including the roles of international trade and development.

In collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University and the Department of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh, GSPIA has launched the Pittsburgh International Trade and Development Seminar Series with the purpose of introducing students to leading research and the scholars conducting it.  The series is designed to expose students to the vibrant role that international trade and development are playing in today’s complex and growing global society.

During the series, scholars from various research universities and organizations will present their research on these important topics.  Please visit our Seminars page for more information on upcoming events.
